Charity Cottage Project

Anne Meador, Sharity Wright, and Lisa Fazar at the September launch of the Charity Cottage at East Mental Health Services on Brandon Avenue.

The Charity Cottage products are created, marketed and sold by participants of the LEAP program sponsored by The Advancement Foundation. Through the LEAP Program, participants develop a comprehensive life plan, execute work-steps toward empowering themselves and gain valuable business experience by managing the Charity Cottages as a way to gain confidence and to give back to the program for future participants. All proceeds are committed to furthering the lives of Roanoke area citizens.
