Hosted by Jay Warren, a BBBS Board member, the event set the stage for a highly successful positioning meeting between BBBS and local elected officials. The event was attended by Vice Mayor Sherman Lea, City Council members Court Rosen and Anita Price, VA Delegate Morgan Griffith, former city mayor, Ralph Smith, and Darrel Helms of Salem Schools.Of BBBS, Board Chair June House, members Greg Habeeb and Jay Warren, and Director Sheila Andrews led group discussions.
