Shared Staff Program

The Shared Development Staff Program allows nonprofit organizations to create a professional fundraising program within its unique budgetary constraints. Members “buy into” staffing their fundraising program at whatever level they are able to afford. The Advancement Foundation (TAF)  staff and volunteers execute the external fundraising efforts for the partnering nonprofit organization. TAF president and Legacy Council represent the nonprofit organization professionally and passionately. TAF builds a strong case for support through personal contact with prospective donors. The Foundation is responsible for creating community awareness, coordinating major gift solicitations, board development, researching grant opportunities, assistance in writing grants and prospect management efforts.

The Foundation will coordinate staff and volunteer resources to expand the fundraising outreach whenever possible. The Foundation has the assistance of over 35 advancement professionals through the Legacy Council program, the Nonprofit Resource Library and other centralized research functions. The staff works closely with the Director and Board of the Nonprofit to coordinate and execute an aggressive fundraising program to ensure fundraising goals are met.
