Feeding America Southwest Virginia provides low-income individuals and families with the fuel to survive and even thrive. Feeding America member food banks supply food to more than 37 million Americans each year, including 14 million children and 3 million seniors.
Last year volunteers donated more than 18,000 hours at the Feeding America Southwest Virginia, assisting us with duties that included sorting food, public speaking, event planning, fundraising, branding, management consulting, and financial training to agency members and food recipients.Â
